Rebecca

Rebecca Dibler Wallace alternates between singing the lead and alto parts. The Lord has blessed her with the talent for songwriting.   'Abishai", "Keep On Keeping On, "Beautiful  Cross" and "We Need to Tell Them,”  are just a few of those songs. Rebecca is married and has three children. She loves to practice her painting, and loves playing piano. Like most mothers, she struggles to balance the demands of work, hobbies, family and worship, but in all things, she gives God the glory.

In 1997, I accepted the Lord as my Savior.  I thank the Lord for allowing me to be raised in a Godly home surrounded by good preaching and singing.  I started singing with Abishai at the age of 15.  I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him through music.

Deborah & Taylor

Deborah Cole's voice can be heard on both the lead and tenor parts.  Deborah enjoys serving at our home church where needed. Her utmost desire is to serve the Lord with all her heart.  Deborah enjoys traveling and serving the Lord with her husband and son.

I got saved when I was nine years old.  I have always loved singing gospel music.  I thank the Lord for allowing me to be a part of Abishai.

Taylor Cole plays the cajon for the group and  sings as well.  When he isn't traveling, he enjoys playing basketball and watching Clemson football and other sports.  He also loves to spend time with his family. Taylor enjoys serving our home church by running the audio/visual. 

I was saved at the age of 14 at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church in Pickens, SC. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve Him in as many ways as I can.

Mark

Mark Dibler possesses the talent to sing all four parts (not at once, of course).  His job and music ministry keep him busy, but when he has the time, he enjoys playing basketball and strumming his guitar.  Mark has also been blessed with the talent of songwriting.   Mark is married, has two beautiful daughters, a son, and another daughter on the way!

I was saved at the young age of four and baptized a little later.  I have been playing the guitar since I was ten and singing with the group since I was twelve.

Mark &Lisa (aka Mom &Dad)

Mark and Lisa both sang with the original Family Harmony.  They now sing with Abishai when they can, on Saturdays and  Sunday nights.  Mark switches between Bass and Lead.  Lisa sings both harmony parts as well as Lead sometimes.  Mark has written many songs, including Resurrection Ground, about his little girls passing. They are proud Grandparents of 8 and the 9th on the way! They love fellowshipping with  new people, especially on Gospel Cruises! Mark has been Pastoring Bible Baptist Church in Pickens for 29 yrs! 


Mark-    I was 5 yrs old, and about to take a trip on an airplane. I knew that if the plane crashed I would be in Hell.  I bowed down next to a suitcase in a house in Michigan and asked God to save me.  Years later, I rededicated my life and surrendered to Preach. 

Lisa-  I went down to an altar in Michigan. I knew I needed to be saved. The Pastors wife took me into the Baptistry and I asked God to save me. I now work alongside my husband, serving the Church in many ways as I can. ​
